Unique Branding
When Orange-U-Glad was first launched, the majority of the products on the market looked very homemade. This lead to consumers often being weary of the quality and consistency; "You never really know what you're getting." I wanted to create a brand that looked and felt like one you would buy products from at a normal retailer. A brand consumers could trust.
Further, California imposed strict regulations on how products could be packaged. With products already on shelves, a change in regulations stated that edibles would no longer be able to put imagery of fruit on the outside of the box. After conferring with the San Francisco Health Department, and a handful of dispensary leaders, we determined that the best course of action was to replace the orange with a glowing ball, implying the sun – a necessity to growing oranges!
